With the launch of the campaign website and multiple options to accept donations, Rob’s campaign for Hardin County Jailer is OFFICIALLY on its way. In addition to his door-to-door delivery of his campaign platform, through the website and use of social media, such as Facebook, Rob will get his message to the people. That message: It is time for real change in the way our county Jail operates. From programs that will assist inmates become productive in society upon their release to changes in the way state and local tax dollars are spent, electing Rob Reynolds as your next Hardin County Jailer will be a win-win for everyone. A Republican is once again throwing his hat into the ring to run for Hardin County jailer.
Rob Reynolds announced his candidacy for the elected office, “pledging to bring professionalism, transparency and integrity back to the office while continuing his lifelong commitment to service,” a news release announcing his candidacy said.
Reynolds, a military veteran, retired deputy jailer and longtime peace officer, said his decision to run is driven not by titles but by purpose.

Rob Reynolds has registered and will kick off the 2026 campaign for Hardin County Jailer tonight at the Brown-Pusey House from 6:00 – 8:30 PM . Rob is eager to make a difference. His announcement to seek election included his robust Platform to make substantial changes to the Jail system. His changes will benefit the inmates incarcerated in our county jail, but more importantly the changes will benefit the residents and taxpayers of our beautify county.
